Wednesday Woo-Slot Machine Lucky

My Wednesday Woo-Hoo is going to be shorter today, I promise. Maybe.

Woo-Hoo number one is that today, I looked at my Twitter screen and I noticed I have had this many Tweets:
I just happen to think that's super cool. When anything says 777, I think of "winning" and I'm having a Charlie Sheen at the slot machines moment. It means something lucky is coming my way. 666, I evil hiss at you and throw away receipts equaling six dollars and sixty-six cents in the trash! Phooey, spit, spit!

Number two Woo-Hoo is that I am some body's very first guest post and it is my dear friend, made right here in the blog world, Lisa Weinstein. Her blog focus is a humorous look at life as the mom of a teen, coping with middle age, and celebrating nearly two decades of marriage with the love of her life.

Lisa's writing is always funny and clean, which is hard to find. Follow her on twitter @prleebee and please stop by her blog to read my guest post at The Mixed Up Brains of Lisa Weinstein. She had some formatting problems, but was able to fix most of them before collapsing into bed, a kindred tired mom spirit. Hang in there, Lisa! We all have those things happen ;0)

Woo-Hoo number three is that my Everyday Underwear Top Commentator leader board has somehow duplicated Karen Anderson. Woo-Hoo Karen! You are a star twice and I have no idea why it did that, so I'm just super woo-hooing you, LOL! Kelly Hashway is still kicking butt and staying on top, however, even if you combine Karen's two rankings.
Woo-Hoo that I made it through this last week. I have had a rough week and it was not easy to keep a positive attitude. I pity my hub and kids for having to put up with me, but alas, bad weeks are good writing material and I have more things to write about than I have time to write, which is a good thing. I can't wait to share my stories and wish I had more time to write them - maybe when the kids are back in school in a few weeks? Hmmmm. WOO-HOO!

  1. WooHoo! I look so forward to your WooHoo Wednesdays! Funny you mention about the number of Tweets, Monday night I looked at my twitter account and it showed 666 Tweets. I was horrified and hurried to make another tweet to change it to 667!! So I tweeted about my supersticion of the ugly number...what does that say about me? YOu're slot machine lucky and I'm partly evil? LOL When is your guest blog being posted? Have a super Wednesday!

  2. Once the Woo-Hoo gets rolling it's kinda hard to shut down, eh?

I have a special affinity for 7 too. I graduated in '77 (shush you!), which makes me an automatic fan of the 7's. There was a bowling tournament in Vegas years ago that had a first prize of $7,777.77. A few years later the total prize pool was $77,777.77. These days that's chump change for athletes, but it was kinda cool then.

  3. Yes, the weekly Woo-Hoo train dutifully rolls through the station every Wednesday and I can rarely be short about it. Chug-a-chug-a-chug-a-chug-ah Woo-Hoo! I'm glad to see someone sharing my love of sevens, too!

  4. Lisa, that's hilarious! And you are not partly evil - or even a little evil, LOL! I wish you no more run-ins with 666's ;0) - the guest blog went up last night - I haven't even checked on it yet or replied to my last post's commenters, so I've gotta get to it. I've been swamped! But I guess better to be busy than have too much time on my hands, eh?

    Woo-Hoo to you and me!

Yeah...that's pretty weird! And in one spot I have a little "earth" avatar and my name is in blue, but in the other spot, I look like everyone else?

  7. I know... I have to investigate it, but have no time right now. I think the blue one is clickable and that's what I want everyone to be. I just can't find one that has all the components I want, but I'm going to keep trying!

  8. I agree that writing funny and clean is not an easy thing to do, but it is the sign of true talent. Anyone can go for the easy laugh with the blue material, but to be a real talent you have to learn to work clean. I learned that from my comedy writing coach, it was the single best pointer he gave me. Woohoo is right, 777 is awesome, love that. I once had a phone number and it ended in 666, you know I called the phone company and had it changed, pronto!!! LOL Off I go to check out your friend Lisa!! Have a great day.

  9. Woo hoo! Look me go! LOL I guess I have a lot to say. ;) Oh look and it logged me out. I hope it still recognizes me as me and I don't end up with two separate entries like Karen.

  10. I think it's best to do clean and I do it for the most part. I have my days when I'm feeling "a bit randy" as Austin Powers would say, but I'm mostly very family friendly and want to stay that way. Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment and great to connect!

  11. I think I'm going to have to switch to a different one again. I don't know what the problem is!

  12. I'm pretty sure it worked correctly. It has to do with how you sign in when you comment. It gave me the Google, FB, Twitter options and I had to remember which one I used. If I picked incorrectly it probably wouldn't tally. But luckily I chose correctly.
I don't think it has anything to do with the widget you're using. It's how people comment.

  13. Look at how smart you are! You're right, I'm sure. You deserve the award I gave you in this week's woo-hoo ;0)

  14. How did I miss this award? I'm going searching now.

  15. My fault - I hadn't officially notified you yet, I just hinted, but I hadn't written the post with the official distinction yet ;0)
